We’ve implemented legacy ERPs, survived year-long rollouts, and closed the books at 2 a.m. with a spreadsheet open on the second monitor. Cairn is our answer: one AI-native system of record that gives a $20M consumer brand the operating system a $2B one has, without the consultants or the wait.
Why now
Mid-market CPG is stuck between two bad options: QuickBooks plus a wall of spreadsheets that stops scaling the day you add a second warehouse, or a six-figure, year-long NetSuite implementation staffed by consultants who bill for every change afterward. Thousands of real, growing brands sit in that gap because nothing was built for them.
Current AI changes what is buildable. An ERP whose agents draft the actual record, a purchase order, a journal entry, a reconciliation, rather than sitting beside the system as a chat overlay, can now be built and serviced by a small team. That resets the cost structure of the entire category, which is exactly why we started Cairn.
